Well, tonight’s episode of
The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love was so very interesting. It was nice to see Jake Pavelka have more of a “normal” date with most of the women, except for Gia Allemand. It would have been nice though if our Gia had been able to have a 1-on-1 date with him instead of having to share her time with Vienna.
The location for Gia and Vienna’s date was magnificent, so romantic, the lovely vineyard of
Castello di Amorosa (
Castle of Love as Builder / Owner
Dario Sattui puts it. ) in Napa Valley. In italian, Amorosa means an extravagantly or excessively luxurious or headstrong woman. Well, at least he picked our Italian Gia for this date, who is definitely a very extravagantly beautiful woman …if only he would have left Vienna behind. However, I understand that Gia was probably the only one he could pick to go on the double date with Vienna, as she is the most mature and can handle it. If he had picked Ali and Vienna, I think Ali would have refused to go.
It was funny when Jake did ask Gia first if he could have some time alone with her, and she told Vienna that she could eat her salmon. When they were alone at the vineyard, Jake told Gia that he was really falling for her and that it was OK for her to fall for him, after Gia opened up to him…that was extremely romantic! He seems like he really, really likes Gia, and things are going well for them. The whole scene was very much like watching a very romantic love story like "You've Got Mail" or "French Kiss", it was yet another perfect setting and watching Jake and Gia fall for each other was such a touching moment. It brought a tear to my eye as they have that story book romance quality about them.
Vienna couldn’t handle Gia being alone with Jake and went looking for them. YES, she went on a 'where's my man hunt. Vienna got lost in the wine making cellar and was so scared. Duh, Vienna, you had a camera person with you the whole time..please stop acting like you are 8! She was calling for Jake and starting to cry and then she found Jake and Gia. Vienna spoiled such a romantic, passionate moment for Jake and Gia.
I’ve read on other sites that others don’t see the connection between Jake and Gia and I think that is some of the editing that the producers are doing. They are totally manipulating the things shown to us so that we will watch. Based on what Jake is telling Gia, he really does like her and maybe it’s not that interesting to watch on TV, but they are real, intimate, true feelings they have for each other.
However, next week ought to be interesting as the previews show Gia telling Jake to “take a deep breath” before they enter her home and also show a clip of Gia’s mother asking Jake if he was in love with all 4 women. Tough questions from a mother who loves her little girl very much!
We are hoping that Gia is the one for Jake so we’ll be watching next week for the “Meet the Parents” episodes.
Wait a second...Gia isn't going to be the woman of Jake's life?
Rumors and spoilers are predicting that Gia will not be the final one chosen on this season of The Bachelor. If Gia is not in fact the last rose given, then we have a few things to say to both Gia and Jake.

First to Jake, if in fact the season ends with you selecting Vienna as your fiánce, with all due respect Sir, it will make sense as to why you have been unlucky in love. In short, it would appear that although your intentions are pure at heart, you end up mixing your emotions with your desires which leads you down the wrong road. It is our prediction that you will in fact realize that you made a huge mistake in letting Gia go and that once she is gone it will be very difficult to get her back.
However, we believe that we have already figured out how you can pursue Gia yet once again.
First of all, make sure you completely get rid of Vienna and I do mean completely.
Next, take Gia's mother Mrs. Allemand out for a nice lunch and pour your heart out to her about how you were wrapped up in the show and now realize that you were a complete idiot. YES, use the word idiot. Explain how you did fall for Gia and that you haven't been able to get her out of your mind. Then, once mom approves of the continued courtship, pour your heart out to Gia and again, feel free to use the word idiot as often as necessary. All of this assuming of course that the spoilers are correct and you end up with Vienna at the end of the show.
Now for Gia, dear, dear Gia. You are so sweet and such a wonderful light appears about you and around you. You need not be insecure ever again darling. America is falling in love with you. You are the Meg Ryan in the above romance movies. You are a combination of Sophia Loren and Angelina Jolie. When you asked Jake if it was okay to fall, you coined yet another romantic phrase as equal to "Jerry Maguire's" 'You had me at Hello'.
We see you and Jake as an extremely perfect match. We hope that the two of you end up together regardless of the TV show. If for some reason you aren't the last lady with a very well deserved rose, then we believe you should allow love to take it's course with Jake and wait until he wakes up.
Or you could just wait until America petitions ABC to bring you back as next seasons The Bachelorette! Then YOU can choose from 25 men and let them compete over YOU. In fact, that's just the way it should be. Then we can get to see a whole lot more of you Gia! Okay forget Jake and let's move on with you being the next Bachelorette. Sorry Jake, we just love Gia that much!
